Development Process / Project Timeline and Proposed Schedule

We will guide you through the following; Discovery, Planning, Design, and Production process. Adhering to this process will ensure a successful outcome.


Our process starts with Phase 1. (Discovery and Analysis)

  • Our goal in this analytical phase is to define features concretely, determine technology integration specifics.
  • Prioritize features so that investment is made in those areas that will provide the greatest return on investment for you.

    • Phase 2 (Design)

  • Begin to brainstorm design concepts and metaphors.
  • Develop a screen flow and navigation model.
  • Do walkthroughs of design concepts.
  • Begin Design with paper and pencil.
  • Create a low-fidelity prototype.
  • Conduct usability testing on low-fidelity prototypes.
  • Create high fidelity detailed design.
  • Do usability testing again.
  • Document standards and guidelines / create a design specification.

    • Phase 3 (Implementation)

  • Do ongoing heuristics evaluation.
  • Work closely with the delivery team as the design is implemented.
  • Conduct Usability testing as soon as possible.

    • Phase 4 (Verify / Deployment)

  • Conduct field studies to get info about actual use.
  • Check Objectives using usability testing.
  • Providing a great user experience is an ongoing process.
